Glossy(just stating I prefer matte finish) Quiet, runs cool, windows 7 home premium is a good fit, comes with a nice little soft case and windows software discs for recovery and drivers.

HDMI output is always a pro and becoming a standard.Ģgb memory is all that is needed with 32 bit OS but it's nice to be able to upgrade if needed

Price is extremely fair for the product specsġ2" screen on a netbook, excellent display with full range swivel (can lay almost flat when open all the way) Pros: Dual core intel CPU with 2mb l2 cache There is an available space for a mini PCIe card to be installed, perhaps bluetooth? Performs great with the upgraded HDD I installed but I didn't mind voiding the warranty to do so. Overall Review: I liked it enough to buy it again when it was stolen from me. This CPU is one of the best netbook chips available ATM (dual-core w/ 2MB L2 cache) on one of the better northbridge/video combos available for these niche-filling machines. Quiet and cool even with a swapped 7200rpm 500GB hdd Great for watching movies in my rack on the ship Windows 7 premium 32 bit is good fit with NO bloatware Touch pad has features to scroll and zoom which I like

I checked the manual and opened it up to confirm. HDMI output WITH sound (no need for separate audio cable/speakers) Pros: Excellent little machine with crisp bright display
But it makes me wonder if I will every order a computer from Newegg again given their exhange/credit policy only on most netbooks/laptops - if I do it will have to be for a more proven unit and manufacturer. Overall it would have been a nice computer especially for the price if had it worked for me. Pretty sure I won't be getting another one based almost soley on Hannspree's lack of response, scares me. I got an RMA for Newegg store credit only, no refunds sorry. I attempted to contact Hannspree via email but got ZERO response, not even an automated response, so this is A VERY bad sign. Overall Review: I received a defective unit, it ran nice when i could get it booted up, but the problem seemed to be the harddrive or the power control from the motherboard.
Customer Service is very suspect? A tech product may only be good as the Customer Service that backs it in the end.
It gets a bit warm when running high end programs, may be to uncomfortable for long periods if you use it on your lap. I own a tiny Acer One 8.9" netbook that's 3 years old and it has almost the same audio quality of this larger unit. Pros: Price, nice bright screen, fairly sleek & slender profile, battery life was over 4 hours on mid applications, ran my HD videos well.Ĭons: Internal speakers are weak, its a relatively small notebook I know, but even still at 12.1" it seems it could have been made somewhat better.
